This last Sunday I celebrated my 30th birthday. Its turned into a tradition that Jimmy and I go away on little excursions for my birthday. I'd much rather enjoy an experience than receive an actual gift. This year, we headed to Daniels Summit Lodge for a day of snowmobiling and relaxing at the lodge overnight. James stayed home with Cousin Ann (thanks Annie). Hopefully by next year, James can start accompanying us on these birthday excursions. This was Jimmy's first time snowmobiling. He loved it, as I knew he would. The weather was perfect to snowmobile. The one thing I regret about our snowmobiling time was we didn't take either the camera or video camera with us on the trail. Luckily we but had our cell phones. Another couple who had stopped at this viewpoint that we were at offered to take our picture with my cell phone. Which I don't think turned out too bad. Later that evening we enjoyed a dinner at the lodge and later I had a spa facial. It just doesn't get better than that. I think next year, we'll have to go back up for some spring snowmobiling. And this time I'll take my camera! I had a wonderful birthday, thanks sweetie.
Later that night, on my birthday, we had BBQ steak and baked potatoes at my parents house. And to top it off a HUGE cookie dough ice cream cake from Coldstone. It was divine. Thank you all for the wonderful birthday wishes.
